Cancer-related muscle loss worsens treatment side effects, and while protein intake is crucial for muscle health, individual responses vary due to genetics and lifestyle. Bruna’s research builds on prior studies exploring high-protein diets in colorectal cancer by integrating precision nutrition approaches. She will analyze biological markers from urine and blood to identify predictors of muscle response and conduct a 12-week digital intervention to deliver personalized nutrition advice.
