About

The Centre for Precision and Molecular Nutrition has evolved through years of strategic investment in advanced equipment and integrated research infrastructure, enabling breakthrough discoveries in precision and molecular nutrition. While some of the foundational infrastructure is already in place, it has been operating at maximum capacity, limiting the ability to meet the rapidly growing demand for the field. Recognizing this need, efforts have been directed toward renewing, upgrading, and expanding facilities to support the full scope of research envisioned for the Centre.

Modernizing critical equipment is essential to maintaining the high-quality, large-scale studies required to drive innovation in precision and molecular nutrition. Increased access to state-of-the-art technologies will not only enhance research capabilities but also attract a broader, more diverse user base, fostering interdisciplinary collaborations across institutions and industries. These enhancements will solidify Canada’s leadership in the field, reinforcing its global impact.

Beyond infrastructure, the Centre’s will soon offer access to highly skilled scientific and technical personnel. Their expertise ensures the seamless operation, management, and outreach of the core facilities, maximizing accessibility and impact. By integrating cutting-edge tools with multidisciplinary collaboration, the Centre is poised to shape the future of precision nutrition, advancing health outcomes and food innovation worldwide.

Mission

The Centre for Precision and Molecular Nutrition envisions a future where personalized, evidence-based nutrition strategies transform health assessment and treatment, prevent disease, and drive food innovation. By integrating cutting-edge technologies, advanced research methodologies, and interdisciplinary expertise, the Centre will establish Canada as a global leader in precision and molecular nutrition. Through innovative research, knowledge translation, and industry and community engagement, the Centre will redefine how nutrition is understood and applied across diverse populations and health conditions.
